Terms of Service

These Terms of Service are primarily intended for business and organizational customers ("Business User"). The Service is not intended for consumer use.
1. Scope and contracting parties
These terms apply to the use of the Grindzero mobile application and related digital services ("Service") provided by Grindzero Oy ("Service Provider"). By using the Service, the Business User accepts these terms.
2. Agreement structure and order of precedence
These terms constitute the general conditions for use of the Service. If the Business User and the Service Provider have separately agreed in writing on customer-specific terms or a service agreement, the following order of precedence applies:
- the separate service agreement,
- these terms of service,
- instructions and documentation related to the Service.
3. User account and authentication
3.1 Phone number-based login
The Business User is responsible for ensuring that its employees, subcontractors, and other authorized users comply with these terms.
3.2 Use at construction sites and logistics
The Service serves as a support tool for digital coordination of construction sites and transports. The Service Provider is not responsible for construction site safety, transport execution, schedules, or compliance with regulatory requirements.
3.3 Responsibility for concrete and materials
The Service Provider is not responsible for the quality, composition, suitability, or environmental compliance of surplus concrete. The Business User is solely responsible for the handling, use, and permitting of materials.
3.4 Documentation and regulatory use
Images and documents stored in the Service may be used for the Business User's own documentation purposes. The Service Provider is not responsible for the adequacy or accuracy of documentation in regulatory proceedings.
4. Nature of the Service
The Service is a digital platform, and the Service Provider is not a party to contracts, deliveries, or payments between Business Users.
5. User account and authentication
Use of the Service requires a user account. Authentication is performed using a phone number or alternatively an email address and a one-time SMS verification code.
6. Location data
Location data is used for core Service functions, such as displaying locations and coordinating transports. Drivers' location data may be shared with other Service users.
7. User obligations
The Business User agrees to use the Service professionally, in accordance with law and good construction practice.
8. User-generated content
The Business User is responsible for content uploaded to the Service. The Service Provider has the right to remove content that violates law or these terms.
9. Images and documents
Images and documents are stored in Supabase Storage in the EU region. Material is retained for as long as required by the Service or legislation.
10. Data protection
Processing of personal data follows the Service Provider's Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
11. Intellectual property rights
All intellectual property rights related to the Service belong to the Service Provider or its licensors.
12. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided as-is. The Service Provider is not liable for indirect damages, production interruptions, or regulatory consequences. Liability is limited to the maximum amount permitted by mandatory legislation.
13. Modification and discontinuation of the Service
The Service Provider has the right to modify or discontinue the Service.
14. Duration of agreement
The agreement is valid until further notice.
15. Applicable law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes shall be resolved in the district court of the Service Provider's domicile.
